The Hypneumat FX312 Ball Screw Rail Unit shown has 12” of stroke, is equipped with a 1-1/16” straight bore spindle and has servo motors for the linear feed and spindle. This allows for programmable synchronous control between the axial feed and spindle speed. This unit can be programmed to drill, tap, ream, bore, mill etc… Hypneumat offers this unit with 4″, 6″, 8″ and 12″ stroke lengths.
This Hypneumat FX3 Series ER40 spindle block and motor mount belt guard will be mounted to a robot arm to perform a milling operation.
Above are 3 Commander 500 series 2-spindle heads, powered by 2 Hypneumat LS350E lead screw tapping units and a Hypneumat M200EHB drilling unit. All three units are equipped with a 1 HP motor (1,200 rpm for the tappers and 1,800 rpm for the driller). These drilling and tapping heads are setup with fixed spindle plates.
This 4 station automatic deep hole drilling machine peck drills 4 parts at one time. This set-up allows for 1 operator to man numerous 4 station drilling machines.
Check out the Swaging Machine built by Hypneumat, Inc. and XL Machine. This machine makes easy work of swaging together a die cast hub and grinding disk. The heart of the machine, a DQ46 Hypneumat unit is operated with a VFD Hydraulic power pack, linear position sensor, laser measurement sensor and HMI programmable controller. Feed rate, swaging force, dwell force and position are continually monitored for consistent operation and repeatability.
Hypneumat has manufactured an integral 3 spindle drill unit with ER16 quick change tool holders and a 2 HP motor. 16 of these automatic drill units will be set-up inline on a gantry system to drill 48 holes in a row.
With companies looking to stretch efficiencies to the maximum, Hypneumat plays a role in the regeneration of old machinery bringing new life to production and the bottom line. (more…)
